Meet our Staff

George Kipiani
Coach George is the co-founder of HoopRight and has played collegiately and professionally. His vast experience of playing in multiple countries has led him to accrue various experiences that help him be extremely relatable to players and a top coach for skill development.
As a Coach:
Top personal skill development coach in Bay Area.
Skill development trainer for Republic of Georgia Junior National Team players.
Current Head Coach of 8th grade black and 5th grade black HoopRight boys teams.
Head Basketball Coach of SVBC 8th grade boys.
Head Basketball Coach of Golden Eagles 6th grade boys.
Head Basketball Coach of Neptunes 4th grade boys.
Coach George is fluent in English, Georgian, Russian, and passable in Italian.
Colin Wan
Coach Colin is the co-founder of HoopRight and a highly respected coach who has over 10 years of coaching experience. As a former collegiate and professional basketball player, he has the experience and knowledge as a player as well as a coach. As a coach:
Varsity Assistant at Lynbrook High School where he led them to their most accomplished finish in over ten years and helped players earn college basketball scholarships.
Head JV Coach at Los Altos High School where he led them to a 13-11 record compared to a losing record the year before and had two players named first team all conference.
Varsity Assistant at Monta Vista High School where he helped change the culture and had one player named to the first team all conference and also earn a college basketball scholarship.
Head Coach of SVBC 10th grade boys team.
Special Assistant to Republic of Georgia u14 National Team.
He is currently the Head Coach of the 7th grade black and 4th grade black HoopRight Teams.
Coach Colin is fluent in Mandarin and English.


Dylan Bouzigues
As a former NCAA Division 1 athlete at Cal Poly SLO, coach Dylan competed in track and field and placed second in his conference championships during both his junior and senior year of college. He has tremendous experience on the track with workouts including but not limited to: Speed Endurance, Top speed, Plyometrics, HIIT, Explosiveness, and much more! He was a prominent member of the track and field team at Cal Poly, placing 8th on the all-time list in the decathlon.

Matthew Skelton
Coach Matt played AAU basketball starting in 8th grade all the way through high school at elite levels. Played JV first 2 years of high school and varsity last 2. Proceeded to play basketball at foothill college. Now he has been coaching and giving back his knowledge on the game to the next generation.

Alexian Lin
Coach Alexian is a former all league Lynbrook basketball player with an impeccable basketball IQ. As a true point guard, Alexian was a great leader who always knew how to direct the offense and defense.
As a Coach:
SVBC 11th grade Boys Head Coach.
Miller Middle School 6th grade Head basketball coach where he led the team to an undefeated regular season record.
Current HoopRight 9th grade boys Black Head Coach.
Coach Alexian is fluent in Mandarin and English.
Babak Taher
Coach Babak is a highly passionate coach who is absorbed into basketball. A Lynbrook basketball grad, he was the “glue” guy on a team that had their best record in ten years and was a player who was always reliable to practice hard and motivate his teammates. He has taken that spirit and enthusiasm into his coaching.
As a coach:
Los Altos High School JV Basketball Assistant Coach where he was instrumental in player development with two all league first team players.
Miller Middle School 6th grade Head basketball coach where he led the team to an undefeated regular season record.

Cindy Duong
played JV as a freshman and started varsity as a sophomore in High school. Her love and passion for basketball has grown tremendously when she was in college playing for the club team at San Jose State University. Now she loves teaching young ballers how to play and develop the skills they need to move on to the next level.

Will Brown
Coach Will is a highly respected coach in the Bay Area that has played in the NCAA D2 level and also been a varsity basketball coach. Growing up in the Bay Area he has been a highly respected community figure as well a coach. Coach Will is known as a top skill development coach as well as an effective communicator with great energy and knowledge.

Head Varsity Girls basketball coach of East Palo Alto Academy where he helped numerous players gain college basketball scholarships.

Josh Belong

Ibrahim Muttaqi
Sports have always been a large part of Coach Ib’s life as he was a multi-sport athlete in High School and now competes for the club basketball team at San Jose State University. Developing an understanding of how the game works was very important for his success as he was never the tallest or strongest, and now he works as a coach to share this understanding with young players.
